Valeska Muller

Valeska Muller is a South African contemporary abstract artist, singer, songwriter and actress whose work celebrates colour, joy and emotional connection.

Although she achieved a distinction in Art at school, Valeska spent more than two decades building a career in the performing arts before rediscovering painting during the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when the world felt grey, uncertain and disconnected, she turned to abstract art as a way to bring colour, hope and creativity back into her own life. What began as a deeply personal journey of healing soon evolved into a professional career as collectors began purchasing the vibrant works that filled her home.

Working primarily with palette knives, Valeska creates richly textured abstract paintings that are bold, expressive and instinctive. Her work explores the idea that colour has the power to transform not only a space, but the way we experience it. Each piece is an invitation to pause, reconnect with wonder, embrace playfulness and rediscover the beauty that so often gets lost in the demands of adulthood. Through every canvas, she hopes to bring a little more light, joy and life into the homes of others.
